Join WAS members and friends for this workday to cut woody invasives like buckthorn and honeysuckle at our own Searles Nature Preserve, at the headwaters of Stony Creek. We’ll provide the tools and know how, and you bring your family and friends to help us keep Searles Nature Preserve looking great. We’ve made some progress over the last few years, and have restored several areas of high quality, mostly invasive free woodland. The wildflowers are beautiful here and we’ll have a nature walk/bird walk after the work is done for the day. This is a great event for keeping social distance while still enjoying being outdoors with other folks.
