Birding Oaxaca

Join Washtenaw Audubon’s longtime foreign field trip leader, Bryn Martin, for a report on the WAS trip he led to the southern Mexican state of Oaxaca in August of this year. The trip started in Oaxaca City and visited a variety of habitats from high mountains to the Pacific coast. The trip yielded 220 species, including 45 endemics, as well as many butterflies and a visit to fantastic Zapotec ruins.
