Winter Tree Identification Walk

Back by popular demand! Everyone had so much fun at the December event, we had to do it again.
Want to learn the difference between a hickory and a hackberry? How about a beech from a basswood? Did you know oak species can be relatively easy to distinguish from their bark? Join us for an interactive winter hike to learn to ID common Michigan trees. As always, we will share interesting ecological information and paint a holistic picture of this ecosystem.
Directions: Meet at the Dunwoodie Rd entrance at 3185 Dunwoodie Rd.
