Birding Taiwan, with Victor Chen

Join Victor Chen for an informative presentation on the birds and beauty of Taiwan. Victor teaches chemistry at Thurston High School in Redford and is the education chair of the Washtenaw Bird and Nature Alliance. He leads educational programs and BIPOC walks for WBNA, hoping to bring more youth and people of color to the outdoors. Although he has visited his extended family in Taiwan in the past, this was his first time as a birder. In this presentation, he will share some of the birds and other natural beauty he saw during his family’s trip to Taiwan.
