National Trails Day – June 7

Shades of the Outdoors (Brandan Freeman’s Outdoor Enthusiasts Group) is hosting the following BIPOC event:

National Trails Day is coming up on June 7th. What better way to celebrate than by coming together for a hike?!

Calling all Black, Indigenous, and all People of Color (and Allies) to join us and our friends from the Washtenaw County Parks & Recreation Commission and American Hiking Society for a hike!

We’ll be meeting at County Farm Park in Ann Arbor (2230 Platt Rd) at 11am on June 7th to walk the 1.25 trail.

The route is flat, hard packed gravel, and easily marked.

Plus we’ll be having a raffle where you can win $50 or $100 gift cards to Bivouac Ann Arbor !!

(We really buried the lede here 😂)

Lace up your shoes, bring your friends, and we’ll see you there!
