VIDEO: Birding Devon and Beyond — presentation by Ben Lucking

After racking up 266 species in Washtenaw County since he started birding here as a lad, often on Washtenaw Audubon field trips, Ben Lucking transferred to the University of Exeter in the English county of Devon. Though he obviously spends much of his time studying, in his spare time he’s seen 170 species in his couple of years in Devon, good for 7th place on the eBird top 100 life list for the county. From his room in Devon via the magic of Zoom, Ben will describe some of his birding adventures in the UK, with a few forays to more exotic locales, such as North Africa.

Presented virtually via Zoom on May 19, 2021
